In accordance with Article 22(2) of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (“LSSI-CE”) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), PADEL'EM provides information about the cookies and similar technologies used on the padelem.com website (the “Website”).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the user's browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, among others) when they visit it. Among other things, they make it possible to remember the user's preferences, measure use of the site and display advertising. This Policy also applies to similar technologies, such as tracking pixels.
2. Types of cookies used
- By owner: first-party cookies, managed by PADEL'EM, and third-party cookies, managed by Google and Meta.
- By purpose: technical or necessary cookies, analytics cookies and advertising cookies.
- By duration: all cookies used are persistent, with the duration stated in section 4.
3. Legal basis and consent
3.1. Necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 22(2) LSSI-CE and are always used.
3.2. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used if the user accepts them in the cookie notice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). No optional cookie is set before the user makes a choice, and all of them can be rejected from the first layer of the notice.
3.3. The user may withdraw their consent at any time, as described in section 7.
4. List of cookies used
4.1. Necessary cookies
- cc_cookie. Owner: PADEL'EM. Purpose: to store the user's cookie preferences. Duration: 6 months.
4.2. Analytics cookies (subject to consent)
- _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics 4). Owner: Google. Purpose: to measure visits and use of the Website. Duration: 2 years.
4.3. Advertising cookies (subject to consent)
- _gcl_au (Google Ads). Owner: Google. Purpose: to measure the conversions of our ads. Duration: 90 days.
- __gads, __gpi and __eoi (Google AdSense). Owner: Google. Purpose: to display ads and measure their performance. Duration: up to 13 months.
- _fbp and _fbc (Meta Pixel). Owner: Meta. Purpose: to measure and personalise ads on Facebook and Instagram. Duration: 90 days.
5. Third-party cookies and international transfers
The third parties that own these cookies process the data obtained under their own privacy policies. Google and Meta may process it outside the European Union, in particular in the United States, subject to the safeguards provided for in the GDPR. For more information:

When the Website is opened from the PADEL'EM app, the privacy choice made in the app applies: if the user did not accept tracking, no analytics or advertising cookie is set.
7. Managing and withdrawing consent
Cookies can also be deleted or blocked from the browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect the operation of the Website.
